Black Light Guitar Skins – SkinYourSkunk.com

Skinny was born in 1965 and therefore grew up during the 1970s and 1980s. This was a very cool time when you could go to your local mall and visit Spencer’s! They had all kinds of cool stuff (including a head shop back then).

What was always fun was browsing their Black Light posters. These were a rack of fluorescent painted artwork, usually of interesting topics that under a black light bulb, would glow with a very cool effect. Obviously this effect was even cooler when you were…ummm…using products from their head shop. Yeah…that’s a good way to put it. So in memory of that wonderful time in history, SkinYourSkunk.com introduces our Black Light Guitar Skin collection!

Customer Appreciation Day! – SkinYourSkunk.com

SkinYourSkunk.com is a very hands-on business. Once a customer places an order, we send them an email asking for the sizing of their guitar, headstock or pick guard. We then create a proof of their skin, sized to their guitar and ask for approval. Once approved, we sent the proof to print, package up their skin and send it out. We then email the customer with a scheduled delivery date and tracking number…and request a picture of their completed guitar. About 50% of our customers send us pictures…AND WE LOVE GETTING THEM!

And this one is special! That is Adult Movie Star Bonnie Rotten along with one of our customers. The customer wanted a Custom Skin using our Bullseye design and pictures of Bonnie. He apparently also got the lovely Miss Rotten to sign the pick guard of this guitar. How is that for a cool tribute!

My Wife is Awesome! – SkinYourSkunk.com Guitar Skins

So…Skinny mentions to his wife (Sassy Skunk) that I had just changed the background image over at SkinYourSkunk.com to a skin design and someone bought that same design, on that same day. Now, with over 1000 guitar skin designs, the chances of that are about 1 in 1000.

Sassy suggests using our Guitar Skin designs as backgrounds all the time. Skinny’s mind starts swirling and after a little bit of custom coding…BEHOLD!

Horntail Sally – Skinny’s New Band at HorntailSally.com

Well, Skinny decided to devote a little time to the love of my life…music. Horntail Sally, my new band will be entering the studio shortly do work on a demo album which will consist of a handful of Lynyrd Skynyrd tracks just to get into the mood and swing of things again.

Horntail Sally will be a Southern, Blues Rock and Metal band with a goal of completing our originals album entitled Ghost Lake beginning next year. We have a long way to go with this whole project but you can follow our progress here, and at HorntailSally.com.

So far, we are spreading out with out Horntail Sally Signature Guitar Skins over at SkinYourSkunk.com. SkinYourSkunk.com is sponsoring and funding this project fully which works out perfectly. A little promotion and advertising expense write-off.

As I love to do with a new musical project, I decided to pick up a guitar for the recording and playing out that will be scheduled later. This is my AXL Badwater guitar which should be arriving shortly.
