People always ask if you can skin an acoustic guitar. Well...the answer is a resounding YES! This SkinYourSkunk.com customer choose our American Pride graphic, installed it and sanded it with sandpaper. He wanted a distressed look and the light sanding removed some of the clear coat and the ink. The effect is really cool!
The only thing I do tell acoustic customers is that the sound of the guitar (unamplified) will be a bit muted and/or bassy. Not that, that is a bad thing...but it will change the tone.
