OK…Skinny isn’t sure if this is cool, weird or disturbing. But it is definitely worth a quick viewing since it is something completely different. This is BabyMetal. A Japanese band mixing very heavy metal with teenage bubblegum pop.

Now…I can’t tell what the lyrics are, and that would probably make a huge difference in weather or not I like this. But from the title, “Gimme Chocolate”, I’m not really sure. Somehow, if this was “Pray to Satan” I think it would be a bit more disturbing…and therefore…much cooler. So Skinny will just pretend. But the premise isn’t so bad.
I remember a rumor years ago about a young (and sexy) Christina Aguilera joining with a heavy metal band for an album. Now…I’m not into her music, but she did have an amazing voice and I could imagine liking her fronting a metal band. But…who knows.
