After a lot of soul searching and due to some recent events, I have decided to re-launch my old band…Quitting Heaven! This actually involves a number of stories beginning with our updated website at QuittingHeaven.com.
1. The QuittingHeaven.com website has been transformed into a musical story based around the Quitting Heaven album Colorless. After you click “Begin The Story”, the album Colorless will play song by song, with story notations (this is a concept album) and will automatically advance to the next song until the album has completed. Colorless is the album I always wanted to make so stop by QuittingHeaven.com to either listen to, or download the MP3 album for FREE!
2. I have reposted the Quitting Heaven album entitled XII for FREE ZIP MP3 download. XII is Quitting Heaven’s first album and most definitely our most evil. XII includes the hit “Skeleton Kiss” that was being played at an Italian (in Italy) museum at the display of the “Valdaro Lovers” skeleton display. You can search YouTube.com for our video of this song also.
3. Here is the big one! Quitting Heaven will release our brand new album entitled RELIC in 2015. This album’s music was recorded in 2010 but never released as the vocals and mastering were never completed. Quitting Heaven is now finishing this album which is a mix of XII and Colorless as far as styles. Look for us in 2015!
For anyone who doesn’t know my band, Quitting Heaven is a metal band where I have written the songs, played lead guitar and handle the vocals. Yeah…a little scary. The music is dark, a bit evil and sometimes quite twisted, but often a bit sad including some very pretty ballads. I guess you would have to call some of the styles utilized gothic, but not in a sappy way. But…if you really want to know what Quitting Heaven is about, read the Colorless story and listen to the songs. The first track, Heroin Dreams is not indicative of the rest of the album…it is more of an introduction to the story. You will see why I say that when you visit us at QuittingHeaven.com.
