Skinny was born in 1965 and therefore grew up during the 1970s and 1980s. This was a very cool time when you could go to your local mall and visit Spencer’s! They had all kinds of cool stuff (including a head shop back then).
What was always fun was browsing their Black Light posters. These were a rack of fluorescent painted artwork, usually of interesting topics that under a black light bulb, would glow with a very cool effect. Obviously this effect was even cooler when you were…ummm…using products from their head shop. Yeah…that’s a good way to put it.
