Well, Skinny decided to devote a little time to the love of my life…music. Horntail Sally, my new band will be entering the studio shortly do work on a demo album which will consist of a handful of Lynyrd Skynyrd tracks just to get into the mood and swing of things again.
Horntail Sally will be a Southern, Blues Rock and Metal band with a goal of completing our originals album entitled Ghost Lake beginning next year. We have a long way to go with this whole project but you can follow our progress here, and at HorntailSally.com.
So far, we are spreading out with out Horntail Sally Signature Guitar Skins over at SkinYourSkunk.com. SkinYourSkunk.com is sponsoring and funding this project fully which works out perfectly. A little promotion and advertising expense write-off.
As I love to do with a new musical project, I decided to pick up a guitar for the recording and playing out that will be scheduled later. This is my AXL Badwater guitar which should be arriving shortly.
Oh yeah…here are the Skynyrd tracks we are going to demo with…Saturday Night Special, Simple Man, Tuesday’s Gone, Gimme Back My Bullets, What’s Your Name, Gimme Three Steps and of course…Free Bird! Yup…a new guitar and some classic Southern Rock to get into the mood.
