Customer Appreciation Day – My Favorite Guitar & Bass Skins

Over at SkinYourSkunk.com, we have some of the best customers!  We get so many pictures of their skinned guitars, basses and acoustics that it is sometimes hard to keep up.  These are a few of my favorites.

Custom Paint Image Guitar Skin – This customer already had an image in mind for their guitar.  A beautiful dripping paint picture with a black background.  As you can see, there are many curves to this guitar but with our premium vinyl skins, even a novice can successfully attach them, and produce a real beauty.

Custom HP Lovecraft Guitar Skin – This one was a bit of a challenge for us and the customer knew exactly what they wanted.  A custom skin featuring an HP Lovecraft creature positioned just perfectly.  In cases like this, we work with an overlay where the customer can see how the skin will look on their guitar.  The headstock was also unique including the HP Lovecraft name as the guitar brand decal.  As you can see…a portion of the body skin can be used to cover the pickups also.

Explorer Guitar Etching Skin – This is absolutely awesome!  This black and white etching depicting the devil and a knight on horseback would have to be my ultimate choice for best skin we have ever done.  But that is just my personal preference.  SkinYourSkunk.com has produced over 300 skins for customers, and we are growing every day!

American Flag Acoustic Guitar Skin – This customer went the extra, artistic mile.  After install their SkinYourSkunk.com skin on this acoustic, they lightly sanded the skin to give it a rough texture and look.  I think that was an amazing idea!  Of course, we now offer “Modern Matte” skins which may have saved some time on this one.

Ted Nugent Guitar Skin – What more is there to say about a SkinYourSkunk.com, “Uncle Ted” guitar skin.  Well…quite a bit.  You see…this customer got their pick guard signed by Ted and sent us the picture to prove it.  So…a brush with fame here.

Points Fender Bass Guitar Skin – I personally play guitar and have for decades.  But I have always loved basses.  Until we received this picture, we had no idea that this skin was such a perfect match to the neck inlays on this bass.  Sometimes the simpler SkinYourSkunk.com skins look the best.

Confederate Flag Guitar Skin – And speaking of simple…what is more classic than a SkinYourSkunk.com confederate flag skin on a Les Paul style guitar.  But man…does it look awesome!

Freddy Kruger Nightmare on Elm Street Guitar Skin – And rounding out this session of our “Customer Appreciation Day” is another famous character.  One of our best sellers…Freddy.
