Over at ExtremeBoardSkins.com, a customer contacted us about doing a Custom Longboard for them. The theme was “Scooby Doo” and having grown up in the 1970s, that really sounded like a cool project. We started with various art of the individual members of the “Gang” and arranged them into a layout that suited a 42” long by 11” wide longboard.
One of our Graphic Artists really took this project to heart and wanted to do something completely original…so…they found a cool, 3D looking haunted church image and blurred it into the background. What an awesome idea!
The blurred image background, and with the crisp “Scooby Doo Gang” cartoon pictures in the front created a depth and three dimensional effect that looks amazing. Our customer, Jerry agreed and approved the print. As always, we printed this design on our Premium Vinyl, Adhesive Backed custom skin material at 1440 DPI and sent it off to our customer.
Jerry sent us a few pictures along with a nice email. “Hi mark here are a few pics to choose from. May take a couple of emails. I am not a pro so hope you can work with these. Thank you, turned out fantastic and easy to apply.”
